Accessibility Statement

Healthcare should be accessible to everyone. We're committed to providing an inclusive experience.

At Cornerstone Medical, we believe that quality healthcare should be accessible to all members of our community. We are dedicated to ensuring that our services, facilities, and website are accessible to people with disabilities.

We continuously work to improve accessibility and remove barriers. If you encounter any accessibility challenges, please let us know so we can address them promptly.

Our Commitment to Accessibility

We are committed to ensuring that our healthcare services and facilities are accessible to all patients, regardless of physical, sensory, or cognitive abilities. We comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and strive to provide an inclusive environment where everyone receives quality care with dignity and respect.

Physical Accessibility

Our facilities feature wheelchair-accessible entrances and parking, elevators and ramps throughout the building, accessible restrooms with appropriate fixtures, wide doorways and hallways for easy navigation, accessible examination rooms and equipment, and reserved parking spaces close to entrances for patients with mobility challenges.

Visual Accessibility

We provide large-print forms and documents upon request, high-contrast signage throughout our facility, well-lit spaces to assist those with low vision, screen reader compatibility on our website, and assistance with reading and completing forms. Guide dogs and service animals are always welcome in our facilities.

Hearing Accessibility

We offer qualified sign language interpreters for patients who are deaf or hard of hearing (please request in advance), assistive listening devices in consultation rooms, visual alerts in waiting areas, written communication options, and video relay services for telecommunication needs. Staff are trained in basic communication techniques for hearing-impaired patients.

Language Services

We provide professional interpreter services for non-English speaking patients at no cost, translated documents for common languages, bilingual staff members, telephone interpretation services for immediate needs, and culturally competent care. We recognize that effective communication is essential to quality healthcare.

Cognitive & Mental Health Support

We offer extended appointment times for patients who need extra time, quiet spaces for those with sensory sensitivities, simplified forms and clear communication, family member or caregiver involvement when appropriate, and patient advocates to help navigate the healthcare system. We are trained to support patients with cognitive disabilities, autism, and mental health conditions.
